The Festival of Trees: A Community Tradition
Always held the second weekend in December, the Festival of Trees is an annual community tradition shared with the residents of Lincoln County.
The Festival, a two day event, offers the community the amazing opportuinity to come together to enjoy the holiday season by sharing the warmth of friendship and all the magic the season has to offer.
During this weekend, local businesses and organizations provide the community with the most astonishing display of trees. Each tree is decorated with painstaking detail and displayed to please the eye and excite the senses. The room is filled with holiday ambiance; twinkling lights, glistening ornaments, shimmering garland and beautiful holiday craftsmanship.

Family Night
Friday night is Festival Community/Family night, and is open and free to the public. In addition to viewing some of the season's most dazzling trees, you can enjoy the SJLH Auxiliary's famous chili while watching children of all ages make their way through a Santa Wonderland. What fun memories to share with your chilren and grandchildren!
Santa and Mrs. Clause, along with their Elves, played by the legendary Kootenai Karacters, enchant the children and make holiday memories all in the warmth of the Memorial Center!
The Festival Gala
On Saturday, the trees from the family night before become the back-drop for Lincoln County's most celebrated Holiday Gala. Dancing, mouth watering hors d’oeuvres, no-host cocktails, auctions, raffles, and dazzling trees have deemed this event Lincoln County's most celebrated holiday gala. The Festival Gala is the most elegant event of the season.
