The Festival of Trees: A Community Tradition
Always held the second weekend in December, the Festival of Trees is an annual community tradition shared with the residents of Lincoln County.
The Festival, a two day event, offers the community the amazing opportuinity to come together to enjoy the holiday season by sharing the warmth of friendship and all the magic the season has to offer.
During this weekend, local businesses and organizations provide the community with the most astonishing display of trees. Each tree is decorated with painstaking detail and displayed to please the eye and excite the senses. The room is filled with holiday ambiance; twinkling lights, glistening ornaments, shimmering garland and beautiful holiday craftsmanship.

Family Night
It all begins on Friday, with a Magical Santa Wonderland Family Night. Join us for a fun filled evening that the entire family can enjoy.
View the beautiful trees decorated and displayed by local merchants and organizations. Then settle in to watch generations of memories in the making, as the children sashay through the Santa Wonderland making ornaments, decorating cookies, viewing the antique train sets, and listening to story time as they make their way to Santa, Mrs. Claus, and his Elves. Remember your cameras.
The St. John’s Auxiliary will also have the season’s best bake sale to satisfy your sweet tooth and save you hours in the kitchen. Admission is Free! To display a tree or for more information call KC Hoyer at 293-0106.
The Festival Gala
On Saturday, don your finery and join us as we dance the night away at Lincoln County’s most celebrated Holiday Gala Fundraising Event to benefit St. John’s Lutheran Hospital. The shimmering trees are the backdrops for this romantic evening. Dazzling partygoers are thrilled by the excitement of the auctions and raffles. Mouth-watering hors d’oeuvres, incredible music, fun and laughter; all in a fairytale-like atmosphere, make this evening the most romantic and exciting evening of the season!
